Ballinrees Reservoir is a couple of miles outside Coleraine.
We walked round it the week-end before last.
There are signs telling dog owners that their pet should be kept on a lead. I saw a number of dogs, all running free and most of them wet.
Just as well the water is treated before it arrives at our taps.

Just visited that reservoir today and found it a lovely walk. However so disappointed to see so many dogs uncontrolled and lots a dog faeces about,,, hardly good enough for a reservoir,,,,, As I was passing through Coleraine we decided to stick with the bottles drinking water
We do let our dogs off to walk next to us and pick up our poo.. This last month the path is full of poo.. Please pick it up.. It's not hard..
