Field

Oilseed rape is not a crop native to Northern Ireland. Although it has been grown here for a number of years, it isn't a common sight.

So it's still something of a shock when you come across a bright yellow field.

Canola crops are in abundance throughout the prairie provinces in Canada. It is manufactured into canola oil, one of the favorites in these parts.

The yellow field is simply gorgeous, and I love the way the trees are silhouetted against the dusty blue sky. Beautiful picture!
